The Agile tonearm originates from an ambitious project to develop a high-end tonearm that outperforms all previous models.
To succeed, it needed to surpass the strong competition posed by the Enterprise. Every design detail—already recognized as world-leading—was carefully examined. The Agile underwent extensive testing to minimize resonance, with each component tested, redesigned, and improved to deliver the best musical performance.
The first noticeable difference is a marked increase in definition and clarity: vocals become more tangible, instruments reveal greater texture, and reduced bass overhang results in a more transparent mid-range. It represents a leading high-end tonearm that brings the original sound closer to the listener.
Compared to the Enterprise, the Agile features higher-grade materials in the arm tube, rear stub, counterweight, and turret plate; advanced stiffening techniques within the arm tube; a larger yoke offering greater energy absorption; and uses the S-version Silver Hybrid cable for both internal and external wiring.
